Just Purchased Sparrow App. Can't Validate a Single Email.... Help?

...Have 2 gmail accounts and 2 yahoo accounts. Have strong wifi. Sparrow requires you validate an account upon entry. All are failing--stating either connection bad or server not available. Have emailed the developer. Looks like a good app, but for $3 I expect it to work. Any ideas?

what about when you use the stock mail app on the iPhone? does it work well with your gmail and yahoo accounts? Also try using sparrow on your 3G connection see if it makes any difference or not.
