Jailbreak detection

Does anybody know if an app such as xCon from cydia that prevents jailbreak detection is necessary to still be able to use the Apple store?

I've jailbroken my last 3 iPhones and never had a problem using the app store and iTunes

Why do you have to prevent JB detection? I use the app store all the time. Just go there!

Ok cool, I was browsing cydia when I came across the detection app and was wondering but if I don't need it I won't install it, thanks guys!

There are only a very small handful of apps that detect jailbroken devices. One of them is iBooks. For the most part the other ones are from Satellite and Cable providers who provide an app to stream TV on your device. Other than that, you don't need to worry about it!

Cool, Netflix seems to work and so does iBooks so I'm not going to worry about it!
