Hey, all. I've been using OS4 on my iPhone 4 for a year now with no troubles, but then upgraded to OS5 this week. Now whenever I try to make any kind of change to my iPhone (like renaming a playlist), iTunes tries to sync files that I once had on my computer, but no longer do. They show up in iTunes with the exclamation point beside them (!). I've been going through to try to delete them from iTunes, but I'm not sure if it's working. Plus, there are something like 100 of them and every time iTunes tries to sync the program hangs for like 30 seconds.
Is there any way or are there any third party apps I can use that will scan my iTunes folder and get rid of these entries that no longer exist? I tried putting some new songs on my iPhone this morning and it's taken me half an hour.
