itunes backup problem

hey all

so i just recently had a problem with my iphone. but lets get the specs outta the way. iphone 4, ios 6, straight talk. jailbroken.

16 gigs, 3 gigs free space.

yesterday i decided to backup my phone. plugged it in, hit backup, ok. i noticed the progress bar was stuck on :backing up avengers app: and it stayed like that for at least 30 minutes. didnt seem to have frozen but it didnt move either. so i decided to cancel the backup, ejected phone. now my phones storage says full, with 0 space available. icloud backup is off.

anything i can do right now?

didnt want to start a new thread but i have another problem that seems consistent as well.

everytime i turn off my phone, it does not come back on ( stuck on apple log ) until i re jail break it. this is annoying since im at work and i cant re jailbreak it until night time and now i have my phone stuck at the apple logo for the rest of the day. anybody else encountered this issue?
