Hello. I'm pretty new at all this iphone stuff, but know some stuff about software and what not. I have an iphone4 that was given to me. I was told that its jailbroken, but it seems to be frozen/stuck on the silver apple logo. I've been reading around and used redsn0w to find out that it has the "iphone 4 1_4.0.1_8A306" firmware on it. I dont know what else to do.
BTW I'm using redsn0w 0.9.9b8 to do all this.
I also ran the "Just boot" feature in redsn0w, whose action is to "just boot tethered right now". when i do this the process is incomplete and reads "IPSW extraction failure"
