iphone wont update

my iphone 3g, wont update to 4.3.5 version, its on 4.21 right now, my itunes is up to date and when i plug it into the computer, and try to update the phone it says i am at the most up to date version

the iphone 3G will receive no more firmware updates ever... its a device that apple has forgotten about.. along with the iphone of 2007 and soon the 3GS
