I currently have FaceTime set up with my phone number on my 4s. I also have it set up on my iMac using my apple ID. I have used my iMac to make FaceTime calls successfully to friends in Australia and overseas no matter what device they have.
Last week I went away and tried FaceTime using my phone. I was successful with calls to an iMac and an iPhone 4 in Australia. However, when I tried to connect to a friend in the USA, who has an iPad2 and uses an email address for FaceTime, it would not connect. It just says "FaceTime failed. Friend is not available." My friend was online and waiting. When I asked them to try it connected first go. Any ideas how I can get it to work on my end?
