Hello everyone, I am a PC specialist for a health organization. Next year we will be doing an upgrade to Exchange 2010 which could support iphone. However we have some policies that everyone must fallow. Here they are:

iphone must not try to sync to their personal computer, so syncing music, movies, photos and so on must be disabled.
Buying apps must be disabled.
No buying music on iphone.
MUST be secured with our exchange server just as our Black Berries are if not better.
iphone must not try to sync to a new computer or prompt user for anything when tried to be synced.
Must be password protected.
Must be able to be remotely wiped
And no personal accounts must be able to be setup.
Must sync seamlessly with our exchange server just like BB's do. Including contacts, dates, schedules, and emails.

What is out there to complete all this and can not be bypassed if someone googles it? We have looked at one or two programs however we have read that they can be bypassed or disabled easily.

Whats the point of the iPhone if you can't actually use it for what its for?

If its a program, it's hack able, so I agree impossible

The people that will be using them are not that advanced tech savvy so we are not worried about them being hacked from the user. But are you saying that it is impossible to lock down the syncing and other features from the user?

They will be able to use if for what the company's needs are. Email, phone calls, documents, and texting. The music and other features are not something we want them to use. We will be using this as a tool not as a toy.

To get this done, you need to get in touch with Apple Store, they are capable of cooking a firmware matching your needs. Once that firmware matching your needs is cocked, it will be hard for the user to by pass the limitation since it's one firmware designed for your company. I know some companies here which give their workers iPhones for only work purposes and their iPhones are well protected. The services from Apple Store might not be a free service and i have no clue how much they could charge you.
Apple locking down devices as well to match some countries policies, in some countries you will find iPhones without YouTube, in some other countries you will find iPhones without FaceTime or iTunes and where there is no work around it. So only Apple can get the job done for you. Still I'm not very sure what is Apple policies regarding their devices, if they still offer that services or not, but i do not that they still lock down devices to match countries policies. Actually, there is no Youtube, and no English google and google map in the official Chinese iPhones.
Good luck.
