iPhone basement 5.14 unlocking troubles.

Hey all, I have a iPhone 3G with 4.1 software and baseband 5.14 (I stupidly updated) every now and then my iPhone will start working and receiving messages, calls etc then will go back to saying that " this phone has been blocked on this network". Is this something I can fix now? Or do I have to wait for the 4.2 software to be realesed and the new ulstrasn0w or whatever to come out? Cheers.

check www.iclarified.com see if your baseband can be unlocked, i think you use redsn0w for the 3g not what you use for the 3gs and 4
