iPhone 7 Plus Home Button

I put a new screen on my 7 Plus and I have a message that my home button won’t work. I understand that Apple made this to happen. I am on the auxiliary button now but is there anyway to circumvent the system and make the home button work? Thanks!,

I'm not sure there is. I remember when I tried to change the white face screen on a Product Red 7 Plus to a black screen face and the digitizers was completely different and couldn't be done. Maybe contact Apple and see if this has changed and if it can be fixed.

The Home button is paired to a Touch ID chip on the logic board and the chip can't be paired with a new home button without special equipment only Apple repair centres and authorized repair centres have. In your case, there's no way to get your home button working. Since you replaced your own screen, Apple will no longer service your iPhone.
