Hi guys,

Hope someone ouththere can help me out.

So i had my Sprint iPhone 4S 6.1.2 jailbroken with Evasi0n. I did a factory reset on the phone.
after that the phone turned back on and Cydia was stilled installed, but every time i click on it Cydia won't open.

So i tried going back to Evasi0n to re-jailbrake but i get error message that my phone was already jailbroken and that it is not recommended to jailbrake again.

Now my phone works fine, but i lost the jailbrake even thought cydia is still there.

I tried downloading cydia apps manually and putting them on the install folder on the iPhone. i was told once iPhone reboots it will automatically install those apps.
that didn't work.

and thats my dilemma.

i really don't want to loose my 6.1.2 on the phone now.

any help will be appreciated.

Your only option is to restore the device to 6.1.3. This is why if you don't know what you're doing, ask the question. Jailbroken devices CANNOT be restored using Settings.app. Doing so will break the jailbreak. And to answer your next question, no, it's not possible to put iOS 6.1.2 or any other iOS back on your device, ONLY 6.1.3.
