iphone 4 16gb post water damage question

Hi i got an iphone 4 , cleaned the phone after water damage and replaced battery. but it gets hot now and battery drains 50% + in 4 hours even when completely off. can someone tell me what to look at. or what the problem could be. oh and the phone charges but very slowly and if its completely drained it wont go past the apple logo loop.

The problem is likely to be a short somewhere in the circuitry, likely caused by corrosion as a result of the water damage.

Did you actually put it in a bag of rice for 4days?

yes i did, left it actually for a week in a bag of rice and silica stuff.

I would take it to a repair centre
