iPhone 3Gs problem

Just traded my sister for her old iphone. I had a Blackberry bold before, with the ability to get on the internet and send pics.

I just swapped the sim card from my BB into the iPhone and tried to get on safari and got "Could Not Connect to Cellular Data Network"

I've gotten her FIRST iphone before, a 3g and swapped my sim card in and it worked completely fine.........................

You probably need to set the APN addresses: wap.cingular

Go into settings-general-network-data network.

Cellular Data
Data Roaming
Set Up Internet Tethering
VPN
WIFI

It's under Cellular Data. There is a spot in there to enter the apn address in my last post.

Which iOS are you running? I'm on iOS 5.0.1 and it looks like this:

4.2.1. i have an iphone 3gs.. not iphone 4

i ended up using wifi to get a 3rd party program to set up a custom APN or whatever and my internet works now.
