SOLVED!

Phone
: iPhone 3GS
Firmware: Sn0wbreeze (Exper mode selected hacktivate and unlock) hacked IPSW iOS 5.1.1 (untethered with Cydia installed)
Model: MC133X
Production Week: 30
Modem Firmware: 06.15.00 (must be iPad baseband? i got it like this)
Cydia: 1.1.6
SIM Cards: Full-size sim cards (thats what 3GS takes) tried a really old one, and a newer 32k and also a 64k.

I am connected to wifi and I can browse web and login to iTunes account.

SIM Not Recognized?
I put in my SIM card (its a really old one)
The iPhone didn't notice it or do anything, didn't ask for the pin code.
Then I powered off and on again, nothing.
EDIT
I tried a trick I found on youtube. Reset network settings (phone reboots) that didn't work.
Then turned on airplane mode, removed the sim, it noticed! airplane mode off. Reinserted sim. It asked for unlock code.
It detects my carrier and all their 3G settings but it still says searching or no service after a while. I can't make any calls.

Cydia:
EDIT:
Okay I reloaded the firmware and Selected USER instead of DEVELOPER. Now all the apps show up.
I tried Installing ultrasnow. It didn't help with the SIM problem.

EDIT:
I downgraded my baseband to 05.13.04 using redsn0w by iphone-dev team.
WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!

AWESOME!!!!!!
