Iphone 15 pro max Game Audio

Morning all. Ive had my iphone quite a while now and ive still not figured out 1 issue.
If i am playing a quick game on it, say for instance, Golf Clash, all is great, audio in game is working all good, Until i get a phone call, doesnt matter if its a call on normal network or wifi call on whatsapp, the phone rings and it mutes the game audio which even if i end the game the game audio stays muted until i completely close the game and reopen it.
Does anyone know how to fix this please?, there must be a setting someone not to mute all other audio during a call its so annoying, ive looked and cant find it anywhere, its driving me mad.

All I’ve been able to find is the advice to change the setting “Change with buttons” in Settings/Sound and haptics/Ringtones and alerts to ON.

It might be worth giving that a try.

Thanks, ive tried all that, i had to disable change with buttons, that automatically mutes my ringtone if i press it when the phone rings, so awkward they really need to unlink games and media volume etc from the ringtone volume. Best advice i can find is setup a gaming mode in focus.
