If the update is downloaded but not yet installed, it can be deleted by going to Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Manage Storage and scroll down the list of apps until you see the download. Swipe it to the left to reveal the delete button and tap it.

If you have the red update button on the settings icon, the only way to get rid of it is to do the update.

BTW, build number 13A344 is for iOS 9.0. Build number 13A404 is for iOS 9.0.1.

Blimey you must be a mind reader,as i was just thinking,
whats, what, think i'm going to stick with what i've got,
13A344 is for iOS 9.0,and delete the iOS 9.0.1,or at
least try to delete the iOS 9.0.1.
Thanks to all that replied,i'd be in big do,do without your help!!!!

If your iPhone is on WiFi and plugged into the charger, the update will download but not install. If it hasn't started, you can choose to download and install in one operation. At no time will an update install itself without your approval.

If you backup your iPhone to iCloud, it's possible that these need the storage. Make sure there's only one backup from every iDevice you own.

In case you use iCloud Photo Library: pictures do need a lot of space. Either get more storage space in iCloud, or save them somewhere else.

Updates are usually released on a Tuesday so it's unlikely we'll see an iOS 9.0.3 update before the 14th.
