I can't connect to my Apple TV. There use to he a square box with an arrow that I clicked.

It's the one that switches from iPhone or iPad to mirror on the TV.

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the new Control Panel. AirPlay will be near the bottom right just above the calculator and camera buttons.
