So I got a 128gb iPhone 6 plus Friday ...
AppleCare, AppleCare+, carriers insurance, or nothing?

What's the experiences with insurance?

Is it worth it or a waste of money, how have they payed off for your friends or yourself?

Just a preference. I also say it depends on the owner. If you're careful with your device and/or have a good case then don't worry about it. But if you're accident prone then get it. Not sure what the difference is though. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I have always had Applecare and never regretted doing so. I also have always gotten my moneys worth out of it. The only thing it doesn't help with is theft.

Another "thumbs-up" for Squaretrade......
Had to file a claim for my granddaughter's iPhone 5 (liquid damage).....ST couldn't repair but sent a claim check that not only covered replacement cost....it allowed me to UPGRADE her to a 5S....AND renew the plan for another year!!

I have applecare + and my network providers insurance. Applecare for like battery issues and accidently drops. And my network provider for lost or stolen
