Important about restoring iPhone 4 to factory settings

Hello
I have an iPhone 4 which isn't factory unlocked ( am using gevey sim )
I want to restore it to factory settings ... But am worried that if I do .. the baseband may be updated or changed in which the gevey sim will no more work
So , is there a safe way by which I can safely restore my iPhone to factory settings , and how is this done ?

AFAIK...factory reset on iPhone (Not restore via iTunes) wont change the firmware or baseband.

It will reset it as out of the box as your latest firmware and baseband.

No worry..your baseband wont change by doing fastory reset via iPhone.
