iMessage activation message "Waiting for activation..."

Has anyone else experienced this with their iPhone 4S? My iMessage works fine on my iPad (what Im on right now). But yet, on my iPhone, I go to activate it and it just sits at that message. With the indicator on, and right below, it says "Waiting for activation...".

Help.

I had that but I just exit out the settings and imessage is working.. ignore it

I didn't have any activation message but now imessenge is sending all messages as SMS now since upgrading to ios 5.1

guyz try this one Fix Waiting for Activation iMessage, Facetime on iPhone 3Gs, 4 iOS 5.0/5.0.1/.51 I dont know if it will work for you but did work for me
