(NOTE: Since this pertains specifically to the 5c and the IOS 8 Upgrade, I put this topic in this subforum. If it belongs elsewhere, please feel free to move it as needed.)

Being new to the Apple iPhone environment this year, and reading many articles here and elsewhere about the phone memory required, bugs (now vanquished?) and general lack of new features I would effectively use, I have decided not to upgrade to 8 just yet.

Has anyone else decided on a similar action? Or, if you have upgraded on a 5c, is it worth it? Any noticeable degradation in performace or glitches?

Looking to justify my decision, or be convinced otherwise.

Many thanks.

Most users have no serious issues with upgrading to iOS 8. There have been several updates to iOS 8 since first release and the latest version, iOS 8.1.2 is quite a bit better than the initial release. The next update, iOS 8.1.3 is due to be released at any time and will include the latest bug fixes. You should have no problems upgrading to iOS 8.1.2.
