iCloud my iMac my new iPhone 4GS and my iPad!!!

I have just purchased my iPhone 4GS and have updated my iMac to the latest OS together with my iPad.
My iPhone syncs perfectly over wi fi but my iPad does not. I am unable to sync my iCloud calendars to my iPad and all in all syncing is temperamental and does not always work.
Is any body else having similar problems with their iPad? Does anybody have a solution to this?

I have a iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad 2 and a 2011 iMac all synced. So I know it works. I am going to guess you might need to plug the iPad back into the iMac, make sure iTunes does a sync and then check the box off in iTunes that allows WiFi Sync. Then you should be able to go into the settings, force a wifi sync to see if it attaches. If it does then unplug the iPad from the iMac and try a forced sync again.

And WHAT EVER YOU DO, DON'T EJECT THE IPAD manually from iTunes. Simply unplug it. If you hit the eject icon in iTunes that can cause issues from what I have seen.
