iCloud mail problem on 4S

I have a iPad in one hand and a iPhone 4s in the other and can't get mail from icloud on either. It keeps saying the server is down I've been emailing myself back and forth between the two and nothing. I hope that this will get fixed soon. Also, the mail is coming through fine on the iCloud web site and the iPad it's just not getting to the phone.
