I phone lag

After I upgraded to ios5 and successfully jail broke using redsn0w. I found my phone to be very laggy, particularly on the lock screen and when switching pages. The only thing I have done with Cydia is added a few sources...... Does anyone know how I might fix this problem?? I have tried disabling spotlight search, this had no change. Any other suggestions??
