The Mophie uses a micro USB port to charge so you cannot plug in an adapter for headphones that I am aware of. You can plug the headphone adapter cord that comes with the I7 into the Smart Case and use regular wired headphones. She got some Bluetooth headphones for XMAS which solves the problem.
