How to unlock my iphone so i can use it abroad?

Hi im travelling from the uk to Gibraltar/morocco tomorow and have just called my network (Three) up and they say they cant unlock it until tuesday because its a weekend/bank holiday monday. Is there any way that i can unlock it myself to use abroad as im really going to need it as soon as i land. Hope someone can help, thanks!

I think your screwed then unless you jail break and that might not be possible due to iPhone model software etc, prob easier to borrow a phone, put a local sim in it, recorded message on your uk phone with the local number to call

I have already jailbroken my iphone, so it may not be so hard? i have iphone 4s 5.1.1
