How to read those small scanning blocks?

I have seen small scanning squares everywhere with a finy square at 3 corners, what are they and do you read them with iPhone?

You use a bar code reader program. Like "scan". It will also allow you to read many other barcodes and then search for the item online to see he best price. And the app is free. I am sure there are other apps but that is the one I use.

Those are called QR codes and can contain anything from an email address to an URL. Search the App Store for QR.
