How to post photos to Facebook

I just got my iPhone; model 3G S.I attempted to send my photos to my Facebook account but can't. What am I doing wrong? Do I send-it as a message or as an e-mail.? I tried to send-it using Welcome to Facebook but a message appears that there's no such account. Where do I send the photos and do I send it as messages or as e-mails and to what address? Also, many photos are backlit and very dark. I can't seem to find a way to brighten the photos I snap. Is there a way? Thanks.

Download the Facebook app from the app store to upload the photos.

Search the app store for a sutible image editor. There's loads...

I did download Facebook from the App Store but to no avail. I went on my PC and they gave me a personal email address to send my photos via e-mail and the iPhone says it went through. However, when I go on my Facebook page, there is no photo. What am I doing wrong?

Everything is done from within the app. Press news feed then the photo tab at the top right then select your photos from your camera roll...
