Looks legit to me. Still tethered and only supports up to A4 devices. Nothing new compared to the redsn0w tool released earlier this week.

Many people are having problems tether jailbreaking their A4 idevices using redsn0w including myself with my Verizon iPhone 4. Sn0wbreeze might work though idk I haven't tried this method. I'm tired of having to restore my iPhone 4 to 6.0.1 because tether jailbreak doesn't go through correctly. I have tried everything. No I'm not new at jailbreaking.

Step 1: Click on Extras button.

Step 2: Select iOS 6.0.1 IPSW file

Step 3: Click Jailbreak button.

Step 4: Plug iPhone to the computer and switch it OFF. I follow the instructions and click on the Next button to move to the next screen.

Step 5: Put iOS device into DFU mode. Redsn0w detects iPhone.

Step 6: iPhone reboots now. I release the Home button.

Step 7: Redsn0w starts preparing the jailbreak data.

iPhone returns to Connect to iTunes screen.

I was thinking about doing it, but I know a lot of people are having issues with it. Plus my phone has been rebooting itself from time to time so I'm not sure it would be to smart to do it now.

Having to restore over and over again gets annoying.

Step 6 is confusing.... If your iPhone reboots, that means it's restarting and botting back up. How does that happen AFTER putting your iPhone into DFU mode. And by "rebooting" in your usage, I hope you mean that you just see the Apple logo and it disappears and ends up in a black screen. Do you see the stream of text on your iPhone after Step 7 or did your iPhone jump straight into recovery mode. Did you run RedSn0w as administrator if necessary? Did you install SSH and Cydia properly. And please elaborate on "tether jailbreak doesn't go through properly". Do you not get Cydia or what.
