Jailbreak and unlock my 3g Hello people I´d like to jailbreak and unlock my 3g iOS 4.2.1 BB 05.15.04 As far as I´ve read this baseband is not compatible with ultrasn0w to get it unlocked, so please correct me if I´m wrong. What I have to do is jailbreak it upgrading to the ipad baseband 06.15.00, unlock it with ultrasn0w and then downgrade to a previous baseband with redsn0w because I dont want to lose the GPS. Am I on the right way?

There is a GPS fixer in Cydia if you want to stay on the iPad baseband. But yes, that's the general idea.

Thank you so much. Now some more questions, which is the best method and the best tool to use to do the jailbreak? Create a custom firmware with Sn0wbreeze, iFaith or Redsn0w? Do I need the blobs?

RedSn0w. RedSn0w should be your go-to tool for jailbreaking or jailbreak-related actions. Sn0wBreeze isn't as "perfected" as RedSn0w in my opinion
