how do i pull filed off my mac pro with my iphone

Im trying to be able to pull up files off my mac pro with my iphone when i am not near my computer, for example i hd an excel sheet on my mac pro and i was at the gym and i wanted to pull up the excel sheet from my phone. is there anyway to access my comp through my phone?
