How can I get my data transferred to my new phone?

I have a 3GS, and it is password protected. I broke the screen and ended up repairing it myself, successfully. A week later, I dropped the phone and part of the touchscreen didn't work: the part of the screen that contained one of the digits for my password!!! I tried to fix it again (this time I replaced the LCD screen, long story, I know that was not the smartest idea, but I was over-confident), and when I put everything back together, the screen was black but I could hear text tones, etc. I tried, yet again, to go back in and reset the connectors, but for some reason could not open the phone back up again with my suction cup. My generous co-worker is lending me his extra 3Gs. We just swapped the sim card.

Here is my question: considering that my busted 3Gs is password protected, can I somehow get the data from it? How do I do that? HELP. I have not backed up my data on the cloud. I have two years of data on that phone.

Unfortunately you can retrieve the data on the old iPhone, not using any methods that's supported by iPhoneForums. There may be some specialists that can pull it straight off the hard drive itself
