iPhone max pro running IOS 13.3. I work for a Chrysler dealership and we have a diagnostic application that uses a dongle that plugs into the OBD connector on your vehicle. It uses WIFI not Bluetooth.The application have the ability to use your iPhone or IPad hotspot for mobile diagnostic’s. But the issue is the dongle or pod will only stay connected for about 2-3 minutes at a time. I did a google search and notice a who bunch of concerns with hotspot drop outs with IOS 13. I have a fellow tech who is still running IOS 12 and no hotspot drop outs. I’ve quizzed other techs that have Android phones and have no issues. Anyone else having this concern. And yes I’ve reported this to our support team and they are scratching there heads also.
