Hi thought I would join with respect to jailbreakin my iphone 4, been asking a few questions on the hacking section, I am used to using the custom firmware on a PSP and upgrading that but this actually looks easier, just taking my time as i dont want to brick the phone.

you can do the same on the iphone, create a custom firmware and upgrade to it using itunes

Yup, and don't worry. It is not possible to brick an iPhone4 by attempting a JB, even if it goes badly wrong. You are always able to restore to stock firmware thanks to DFU mode, which is failsafe recovery mode Apple built into every iDevice.

sorted, it jailbroke now very easy, freezin a couple of times though but i think it was anyring app?
