I have a jvc kd-avx77 DVD in car stereo but I need s kd-us30 cable to playback movies from it but I need to find out if the iPhone is a 5volt or 12volt so that I get the right cable so it charges has well as plays from my car stereo can anyone help

Use a 5 volt. The 12 volt is too much juice!
