Help! Jailbreak iPhone 3g without power button

Hi.

I got an (old) iPhone 3g running iOS 4.2.1 (firmware 05.15.04) with a dead power button.
I am desperately trying to jailbreak it but until now I had no successes because I can’t get the phone in DFU mode using the power button.

Can anyone help me?

Without being able to depress the lock button... you're really are at an impass considering entering DFU mode is a necessity when Jailbreaking.
