Has anyone purchased a service to retrieve deleted texts

There appears to be plenty of apps and services that's offer the ability to retrieve deleted texts from an iphone, however I have not read any personal reviews and am a bit skeptical of these services working.

When personal reviews of a product cannot be found, one must consider the possibility that personal reviews are prohibited in an effort to hide the inability of the product to perform as advertised. Just saying.. buyer beware.

I agree, thus is my exact concern but they do find a way to advertise in every way imaginable for some of these.
