I've already synced outlook to my gmail account. Now how do I sync it through my iphone 4?

This is the best way to do gmail on any idevice... The best is setup the email as exchange server and follow the link for instructions.

I've used that process to get GMail onto my iP4, and it works. But I'm not sure if that's what fenell.... wants to hear. And the "using Outlook 2007"comment is beyond my limited understanding!

I use the IMAP settings on my phone shown on the gmx site after you log in, a bit confusing as they lump POP3 on same page

Just setup your gmail in your iPhone, after that whenever you will check your gmail, it will fetch up all emails in your inbox.
