Pocket Gamer reports today on a fantastic new interactive trailer released by Gameloft for upcoming tactical shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard. The trailer, when viewed on a Mac or PC, enables you to make choices about what to do next, so you get a great idea of the tense nature of the gameplay. You’ll be presented with choices such as which direction to take, and whether or not to kick down a door and enter with a bang, or take a more stealthy approach. Just like in the game, your choices will have serious consequences, and if you make a mistake, it’s game over, or in this case, trailer over, and you’ll have to start all over again!

The long-awaited debut of Rainbow Six on iPhone and iPod touch is due to hit the App Store tomorrow, March 17, and will contain 11 missions that retell the story of the classic original Rainbow Six game. Looking like it could be one of Gameloft’s very best games to date.
