Facetime & I message

I keep on getting this message all of a sudden. What can I do to rectify itView attachment 49929

A message popped up on my screen several times now saying that my service provider will charge me for SMS messages used to activate FaceTime and IMessage. I don’t know what to do. When you go to settings - messages - send & Receive I cannot add my cell number

Go to Settings - your name - Name, Phone Numbers, Email - Contactable at, and edit the information/add your phone number there.

Also make sure that time, date and time zone are correct.

Update to the latest iOS version, in case you haven’t done that yet.

Remove and reinsert the SIM card, if necessary.
