extension for photos

I have a IPhone 13 PRO and was wondering if there is a way to change a photo extension. I would like to change it to a .PNG, .JPEG or .IMG? A very important program I use does not support the .HEIC extension.

In Settings - Camera go to Formats. Under Camera Capture select „Most Compatible“.

Is there some way to change the photo extension to something besides HEIC? I have several programs that does not recognize HEIC and I have to bring each photo up and manually change the extension.
