Even when I have auto update

What can I do?

Are you saying that they still update automatically without you having to tap the update button?

When you turned off automatic updates did you do it by going to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Automatic Downloads>Updates and make sure the switch is in the off position(no green showing).

Yes that's what I'm saying yesterday there were two updates I didn't click update but they did

Try turning auto updates on and back off and see if that helps.

And try rebooting the phone. Sometimes changes in certain settings don't take effect until you reboot, even though they are supposed to.
