Stop me if you've heard this one before... Apple is planning to sell 20 million iPhones on the Verizon network in 2011. We've all heard the rumors, some may be tired of it, but you can't ignore the amount of rumors coming out about the Verizon iPhone anymore.

Even some of the more respected market analysts who were doubtful before now seem to be changing their tune. One specific example is Mike Abramsky at Investment Bank RBC Capital Markets whom previously suggested that Apple and Verizon wouldn't be able to come together on a product. He's changed his tune, in a recent note to investors he is claiming that Apple has just issued a build order revision knocking down the Verizon CDMA iPhone order from 30 million units to 20 million units - a 33% decrease.

This might be bad news if you didn't factor in the fact that 20 million phones on Verizon is still 20 million more phones then they sold in 2010... so that would represent a huge increase of sales in a market where they would go head to head with their largest competitor: Android.

Here's to hoping we see increased competition and thusly, better products for all consumers in 2011.

Don't forget, we've got a Verizon iPhone section set up on the site here: Verizon - iPhone 4 Forum
