eSIM

The iPhone X lacks the hardware necessary for using the eSIM. You need an iPhone XR, XS or XS Max.
 
I thought that X face to Xs/Xs max/XR has minimal differences.
So, the lack of necessary hardware would be...?

It's like trying to get 5G service on an iPhone 4, it can't be done. You need a modern device with the proper internal components

So you feel that nothing new nor any improvements can be made to a cell phone after you purchased yours? Apple’s cycles are fairly predictable. First year, new model, second year, modifications and improvements. Otherwise, we are all using iphone3.
 
It’s simple A11 chip is not compatible with Esim technology, that’s all there’s is to it
