Could anybody tell me if Iphone X is compatible with eSIM?
If not, what's the explanation?
The iPhone X lacks the hardware necessary for using the eSIM. You need an iPhone XR, XS or XS Max.
I thought that X face to Xs/Xs max/XR has minimal differences.
So, the lack of necessary hardware would be...?
The eSIM is a non-removable chip that’s built into the last generation of iPhones.
I know that, but I'm a suspicios mind and I'm suspecting a comercial trick for selling more devices on last generation. My bad...
It's like trying to get 5G service on an iPhone 4, it can't be done. You need a modern device with the proper internal components
And iPhone X is an ancient device with poor hardware. Ok, I got it....
It’s simple A11 chip is not compatible with Esim technology, that’s all there’s is to it
