Email problem

Having issues receiving email on phone. Have reset multiple times thinking this was the issue. Not a carrier issue because everything I send goes thru fine to my wife. Help please.

Excuse me if you already checked this but in settings have you added your email address into your account?

Everything was fine till couple days ago. Just turn off iCloud email and started receiving my yahoo account. Maybe this is the fix.
