Duplicate contacts on WhatsApp

Hi,
For some reason i had to reinstall WhatssApp on my iphone.
After I did, besides losing all past conversations (can I get them back?!)
I also found out that now all of my contacts are duplicated. I was looking all over for an answer but couldn't find one.
I am not using MobileMe, but am using iCloud.
Does anybody know how I can fix this issue?

Never had that issue with Whatsapp. Are you having duplicated contacts in your contact app? Maybe you should uninstall Whatsapp, hard reset, the reinstall it again. As for your conversations within Whatsapp; you basically can't help it unless you have an iTunes backup file for your iPhone when you were having all the conversations you want back.
