Aksys Games has today released the long-awaited Double Dragon iPhone, iPad and iPod touch game to the App Store. This version was developed by Brizo Interactive, and is an enhanced version of the arcade classic, Double Dragon, featuring new art, remixed music, character sprites and extras. The game features the heroic feats of Billy and Jimmy, two martial artists who take their butt-kicking skills to the streets in order to save Marian, who has been kidnapped by the Black Warriors. This new version of the classic beat-em-up has new attacks, enemies and bosses, as well as achievements and hidden characters to unlock. The control system has been adapted to use an on-screen controller and combo system so that you can take on the never-ending stream of thugs with ease. Also featured is the Double Dragon Bluetooth co-operative mode, which enables you to team up with a friend and prowl the mean streets together.
