Doodle Jump Gets Multiplayer Update

Lima Sky has announced today that Doodle Jump will finally be getting multiplayer functionality with a long-awaited update. With this new update, players can now challenge and compete with other Doodle Jump fans all over the world via Game Center over a Wi-Fi connection.

The new multiplayer game mechanic pits Game Center friends or auto-matched Game Center foes against each other in a heated race to the finish line. Doodle Jump’s signature power ups can only be used by one of the match’s players, which certainly adds to the competitive edge! There’s also a rematch option which enables players to try and even the score after a close defeat.

“It feels great to finally release the multi-player update to the millions of Doodle Jumpers around the world,” says Igor Pusenjak, founder of Lima Sky. “Competing against your friends for the high score has always been one of the most fun aspects of Doodle Jump. This update transforms the experience with real-time jumping races."

Lima Sky says that it also has plans to bring Doodle Jump to the iPad later in the year.
