Do i need to sync contacts with outlook

Hey all
Do i need to synce or backup my contact with microsoft outlook if im going to jailbreak
Pls assist in this matter.

Jailbreaking doesn't affect anything on your device. All jailbreaking is is like painting a wall. You're just adding to it, not taking away from it. The only time you'd need to back up your device before jailbreaking is if you're upgrading or downgrading an iOS, THEN jailbreaking.

Okis thankx alot. But as i chexked in the net there is a jailbreak available for 6.0.1. But yet i cant download the redsnow new version. I think its not available for na country which is srilanka.
If u can pls download redsnow new version and mail it to ne to .....................

This is the download link for RedSn0w. It doesn't matter what country you're in. And the iOS 6.0.1 jailbreak only affects pre-A5 devices as stated here

Backing up an iDevice before a jailbreak is always a good idea and good practice.... If a jailbreak goes wrong and you are forced to restore at least you have the backup saved....
